Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Serenaya Studio ("we", "us") makes games for iPhone and iPad. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens to information when you play our games (including The Queen's Last Room) or visit serenayastudio.com.
The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email address or any account to play.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.
- Your game progress is saved only on your device.
- Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
1. Information we collect
Information stored on your device
Our games save your progress, coin balance and settings (such as language, text size and vibration) in a file on your device. This information stays on your device (and in your device backups, under your control). It is not sent to us.
In-app purchases
When you buy coins, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the game that a purchase succeeded so the coins can be added. We do not receive your name, payment card or Apple ID. Apple's handling of your information is described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Rewarded ads
Some games let you choose to watch an advertisement in exchange for coins. Ads play only when you tap to watch one. If and when we work with an advertising partner, that partner may receive limited technical information needed to show an ad (such as device type, operating system and approximate region) and will not track you across other companies' apps unless you have allowed it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. We will name any such partner in this policy before ads are introduced.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete support correspondence when it is no longer needed.
Launch announcement list
If you enter your email address in a "Notify me" form on our website, we store that address (and the date you signed up) with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to send you one email when the game launches. We do not use it for anything else or share it. To be removed at any time, write to the address at the end of this policy.
This website
Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for a short time for security and reliability. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts are requested.
2. How we use information
We use the little information we have only to run the game, deliver purchased coins, answer your messages, and keep our services secure. We do not use it for profiling and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Children
Our games are suitable for a general audience, but they are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or limit its use. Because we hold almost nothing, the simplest way to delete your game data is to delete the app from your device. For anything else, write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.
5. Keeping information safe
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
